When you would use it
Whenever a person matters to what you are doing next: a meeting, an introduction, a hire, a deal, a fundraise. You ask O who is involved, what has changed and who can help, and you walk in prepared.O in one screen
Every page has the same frame: the sidebar on the left, the top bar across the top, and the page itself in the middle. Here it is on Home.
On any page other than Home, the top bar also has Open Ask O, so you can ask without leaving the page.
Your first hour
1
Bring your network in
Install the O browser extension and import your LinkedIn connections. In Settings → Connections, connect Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 or WhatsApp. See Integrations for what each one brings in.
2
Tell O what you are working on
In Settings → Goals, choose what you want help with and describe your current focus. O uses it to shape its answers.
3
Ask your first question
On Home, ask about a real meeting or a person you need to reach. Not sure what to ask? Start from the Ask O menu.
4
Add what you know
Write a note about someone you met this week, or use Add context on Network Health. On your phone, Field Mode lets you dictate or type rough notes and save them.
5
Share with someone you trust
Add a co-founder or a close colleague as a friend, and choose what each of you can see.
What O does behind it
- It remembers what you connect. O works only with the people, sources and notes you bring in. The more context it has, the better it can help.
- It prepares; you decide. O answers in the app. It never sends a message, posts or contacts anyone in your name.
- You control sharing. Nothing about your network is shared with a friend until you turn it on, one area at a time.
- It can be wrong. Check important facts before you rely on them.
Availability. What you see depends on your plan, your access and the sources you have connected. Some pages and features are not available on every plan.
